Operation aborted ... just sometimes

Hello everyone,

I got this anoying error : Operation aborted when my page is loading

but the funniest part is that I get this only sometimes

can sy explain the why ? and how to solve this or at least work around ?

Thx in advance

Is there something you can trace thats causing it to abort? Does it give any kind of message?

nope :(

after I got this message, I refresh the page and all is working well ..

ny else has this error ?

Thx

whitout any code or clues about where the abortion is happening, we won't be able to help you much...some code sample would be great...

by the way...I love your O'neill picture ;)

It's the famous operation aborted of Internet Explorer 6

I know that it comes from a problem with the javascript or I don't know what but i want to figure out how to eliminate this error

by the way, thx :D

Sorry but I don't have a clue where to begin to help you...I don't have any code to try to replicate your bug...without more explanation or any code sample...I won't be able to do anything for you...this kind of error can come from different reasons...Can you determine when this error appears?

I don't know, there isn't any special time when this error appears, that's the problem

thx anyway

So it doesn't even have the little yellow icon in the bottom left hand corner of the browser when there's a javascript error?

Does the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer have any application errors or warnings at all?

nope

I have this : http://weblogs.asp.net/infinitiesloop/archive/2006/11/02/Dealing-with-IE-_2600_quot_3B00_Operation-Aborted_2600_quot_3B002E00_-Or_2C00_-how-to-Crash-IE.aspx

I guess from the same reason

I just don't know how to avoid this error now.

Well there is a solution on the website but I can't work with it in my situation

I figured it out, it's exactly what the posted link describe.

I just should try to fix that
